The Bellingham Public Auto Auction is looking for an Auction Assistant to join our team. Approximately 30-35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills. Some computer knowledge is helpful and good spelling is important.
Primary responsibilities include assisting with preparations for monthly auctions, taking photographs, logging items in computer and general maintenance of the lot and office.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18+ years of age
Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Able to drive vehicles with manual transmission
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to read, write and communicate professionally
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a semi-regular basis and be on your feet for most of the day
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Able to work independently
Able to work 1 Saturday per month
