This person will successfully monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follow engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.JOB DUTIES

Perform quality pre-checks on components and parts required to complete a job

Follow detailed instructions in a variety of formats (i.e., drawings, schematics, bills of material, internal procedures, or some combination thereof), and report work completed daily

Perform quality checks on completed assemblies

Interpret test results and evaluate data with oversight (including temperature, salinity, conductivity, pressure, and oceanographic data)

Recognize and effectively report/communicate problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to Manufacturing Lead, Supervisor or Operations Manager, and assist with basic troubleshooting

Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing best practices

MINIMUM QULIFICATIONS

2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience

2-5 years of related electrical and/or mechanical work experience

Basic knowledge of necessary instruments and tools such as hand and power tools, test jigs, voltmeters, and ohmmeters

Ability to read, interpret, and use engineering drawings and schematics

Excellent electro-mechanical skills, including troubleshooting

Excellent soldering experience

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

This is hands-on work and may require you to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on occasion (with assistance)

An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.The compensation range for this role is $26.00 - $28.00 USD per hour.
