DescriptionWe are seeking a stellar program manager to join the Global Service Compliance (GSC) team supporting Amazon’s Project Kuiper. Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys being continually challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.Export Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Key job responsibilitiesWorking closely with the business, legal, tax, accounting, and other teams, you will develop out-of-this-world strategies for handling compliance obligations in creative, business-centric ways that allow Kuiper to move quickly. As a Program Manager for Kuiper GSC, you will serve as a subject matter expert to support the research, writing, and review of policy and procedure documentation demonstrating Kuiper’s compliance with its global ISP obligations.You will assess complex compliance requirements, drive clarity, and foster shared understanding by asking detailed questions about proposed procedures and strategies. You will create the correct sense of urgency to optimize and drive adoption of critical mechanisms necessary to ensure Kuiper meets its global ISP compliance obligations. You will maintain an up-to-date and wholistic view of Kuiper’s ISP compliance obligations and think in terms of immediate problem solving but also automating, expanding, and scaling solutions broadly to drive operational excellence.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | Bellevue, WA, USABasic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
