The MA-C will provide essential clinical and administrative support to our physicians and nursing staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic.This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care principles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Clinical Responsibilities:

Assisting physicians with examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with minor surgical procedures as directed.

Administering medications as directed by the physician, following all safety protocols.

Performing electrocardiograms (ECGs) and other diagnostic tests as needed.

Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment

Assisting with wound care and dressing changes.

Educating patients on post-procedure care and medication instructions

Recognizing and responding appropriately to urgent or emergent patient situations.

Managing patient charts and medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Answering phones, greeting patients, and handling inquiries.

Performing other administrative tasks as assigned.

Entering patient data into electronic health records (EHR) system.

Maintaining inventory of medical supplies and ordering as needed.

Performing other administrative tasks as assigned.

QualificationsWhat we requre:

Graduation from an accredited medical Assisting program, With Washington State Department of Health medical Assistant - Certified (CM)

Knowledge of third party payer requirements required.

Strong aptitude for detail, and ability to work independently, required.

Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills required. skill in using a PC required.

One year Medical Assistant – Certified experience preferred.
