We are seeking a Safety Manager who ensures the compliance of health and safety laws in the workplace, to develop and execute health and safety plans, enforce policies, assess risk, accident prevention, and promote a culture of safety. Take the role to create a safe working environment and minimize hazards to protect employees from occupational risks.
Responsibilities will include:
OSHA requirements
Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines, enforce substance abuse & drug policy.
Prepare and enforce policies and procedures of health and safety.
Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker's comp claims.
Point of contact for employees and jobsites regarding health and safety.
We are a Construction and Land Clearing Company with over 40 years of experience.
