SUMMARY: To support the organization on a wide range of activities to ensure the office operates efficiently and effectively. Responsible for a variety of clerical tasks requiring attention to detail and accuracy.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: · Full-service office reception duties including greeting visitors, answering phones, scheduling meetings, and maintaining databases

· Work with interested families to provide information and screen applications for completeness

· Assist with planning and logistics for events

· Provide referrals to other organizations as needed

· Manage incoming Family Partner sweat equity receipts, database, and reports

· Assist with providing information for those interested in volunteering

· Manage office and kitchen/bath supply system, i.e. keep supplies organized and in their place

· Maintain accurate filing of paid invoices on a weekly basis

· Manage daily incoming and outgoing mail, including the appropriate processing of incoming invoices, payments, and donations

· Assist team members as needed

Requirements:

· Must understand and appreciate the mission of Habitat for Humanity

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently

· Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

· Ability to provide leadership and supervision to volunteers, board members, and family partners as needed

· Must have working knowledge and understanding of the non-profit development process and understanding of the basic workings of CRM software

Physical Demands:

Position requires sitting, standing, and walking. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as required, and will experience bending, squatting, lifting and repetitive motion. Position will occasionally be exposed to extremes in weather (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, and etc.)

Experience:

A minimum of one (1) year of related experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role.

Must possess working knowledge of Outlook, MS Office, Excel, Publisher, record keeping, data entry and manipulation.

Education:

High School diploma or GED required

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

· Valid driver’s license with good driving record

Other Requirements:

· Must not be present on the National Sex Offender List

· Must not have any legal judgments or garnishments pending

· Must successfully pass a drug test

· Must successfully pass a background investigation
