Basic Purpose To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. Develop and maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager to provide engineering and technical support focused on End User Computing. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts, and trends.

Basic Responsibilities:• Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems• Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs• Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems • Present clear, organized, and concise information to all audiences to enable effective business decisions• Work on projects and ad hoc tasks of varied scope• Document new system components, or modifications to existing components• Participate in On-call rotation • Adhere to internal process and detailed procedures to support engineering functions• Tier III support for end user computing • Perform other duties as assigned• Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices• Full life-cycle project management• Establish and lead project teams• Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications• Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality• Risk, Issue and Change management• Ensure successful project implementation• Scope of responsibility

Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience • Strong understanding of MECM functions• Strong PowerShell Scripting skills to resolve specific desktop problems• Strong desktop engineering, administration and troubleshooting skills• Willingness to learn new system functions and concepts related to desktop engineering• Effective communication and documentation skills to write technical and end-user documentation• Effective organizational, planning and time management skills• Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills• Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions• Effective ability to exercise initiative, produce desired results, and achieve objectives• Effective organizational, planning and time management skills• Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions• Capable of working on multiple projects and adapting to frequent changing requirements, priorities, and procedures • Working knowledge of engineering discipline• Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills• Advanced verbal and written communication skills• Advanced word processing and spreadsheet software skills

Salary:

Level II: $72,300 $123,500

Level III: $83,100 - $142,000Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report onsite 4-16 days each month. The number of days reporting onsite will ultimately be determined by the employee's leadership and business unit needs. You will learn more throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
