You’ll coach and mentor a team of hourly distribution associates to meet business goals, while continually looking for ways to improve processes to meet internal and external customer expectations. You’re a Champion for safety, providing a safe and controlled work environment for distribution personnel while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Skill needed:

Excellent MS Office software skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word. PowerBI experience a plus. Experience navigating cloud-based programs such as SharePoint a plus.

Strong Organizational skills with ability to manage day-to-day operation of distribution personnel to ensure accurate and on time order fulfillment.

Day to day:

Provide support, direction and guidance to processes ensuring internal and external demands are met.

Lead and develop a team, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. While working in partnership with HR.

Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction opportunities for the area or department.

Evaluate and manage equipment, systems, and facility to improve efficiencies and workflow. Develop plans for resource utilization.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Identifies discrepancies as they arise, uses problem solving abilities to investigate deviations and complaints.

Manage KPIs, payroll accuracy, and performance appraisals.

Prioritizes work assignments and handles multiple tasks to ensure all distribution assigned tasks are completed as scheduled.

Other duties as assigned.

Other Qualifications:

HS diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

At least 1-3 years distribution supervision experience.

Experience with the implementation of lean distribution including 5S and facilitating Kaizan events.

Ability to manage projects outside of the realm of normal duties.
