Position will be located in Wallops Island, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award which is expected early 2022. Provides military operations expertise to projects such as military training, military planning, tactical/operational warfare analysis and documentation support, military budgeting, military systems design and testing, military systems integration, or other similar efforts that require a thorough understanding of military force structure, operations, systems, capabilities, limitations, and employment. May provide support directly to military units as a subject matter expert. May develop and provide academic instruction, field training, or experiential training to include war games and survival training. Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about military resources required for task execution and completion. Gathers, processes, and analyzes military tactical and operational data in support of military planning and operations. Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered expert in field within the organization. Develops solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.Effects of decisions are long lasting and heavily influence the future course of the organization. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would result in the expenditure of large amounts of company resources. Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Bachelors degree and twelve (12) years of combined experience with AEGIS and SSDS Mk2 combat systems management.
- Experience in all facets of programmatic management related to combat systems engineering, readiness, training, and operations, including responsibility for managing technical performance, reliability, maintainability, cost, schedule, and delivery requirements
- Active Secret clearance is preferred
- Can start work with an Interim Secret clearance
