Description:-Take the lead in interpreting complex designs from Drafting into production documents such as CNC routing files, cut and bend instructions, outsource fabrication requirements, and material ordering requirements and other necessary instruction. -Independently identify and provide corrections and feedback to drawings from Design Engineering, showcasing your expertise in ensuring accuracy and quality. -Demonstrate your ability to set up design families with multiple product types, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of product variations.-Utilizing CAD and Microsoft Office software to create Production Documents based on shop drawings.-Developing and maintaining standard and professional naming, filing and layout of production documents.-Coordinating with shop personnel, Design Engineering and Project Management to ensure clarity and accuracy of output.-Significant knowledge of aluminum/sheet metal fabrication equipment, processes, and products. -Ability to read, interpret and develop shop drawings, blueprints, and models. -Familiarity with Microsoft Office and PDF programs. -Ability to interrogate and develop CAD generated models. (Corel, SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD preferred).
