Senior Drupal Developer

Job Title : Drupal Developer Location : Remote We are seeking a Full Stack Drupal Developer with a primary focus on back-end/module development and technical team leadership. Responsibilities: Gather user requirements from stakeholders or subject matter experts, translate business needs into functional specifications, set project deliverables and timelines, and manage project scope. Develop and write documentation related to the structure and maintenance of custom, in-house applications. Design and implement new features and functionality, establish and guide the website’s architecture, ensure high performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS. Collaborate closely with other front-end and back-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation. Skills and Qualifications: Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and Agile SDLCs. Professional and courteous demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. Experience with Drupal versions 8, 9, or 10. Experience with D10 preferred. Experience working with multi-tier containerized Drupal environments. Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions, including data, display, and integration. Advanced site-building experience with a deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels. Experience in creating custom Drupal modules. Knowledgeable in PHP, PHP files, theme functions, and the Drupal theme layer. Well-versed in Internet standards related to web technology development. Well-versed in web accessibility. Experienced in query development, design, and optimization. Knowledgeable in Linux and Windows command line interface (CLI). Experience working in a source control environment to maintain organization and logging of codebase changes. Experience with environment management tools (e.g., DDev) is a big plus. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Application Development, or a related field (industry certifications may also be used in lieu of a college degree) and 7 or more years of industry experience in web development and application deployment. Must be a current Acquia Certified Back End Specialist (submit evidence with application). Acquia Certified Front End Specialist is a significant plus.
