Medical AssistantJob DescriptionThe Medical Assistant is essential during the patient visit, accompanying the dermatologist in the room and promoting a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists. This is a day shift Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. The office is located in Vienna, VA with free parking and great internal benefits for those who enjoy skin care!Responsibilities
Rooming patients and documenting all vital information
Scribing information for the dermatologist
Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
Scheduling patient appointments
Essential Skills
2 years experience as a Medical Assistant
Experience in medical assisting and patient care
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with assisting with biopsies and minor office surgeries is a plus
Experience with EMA EMR system is a plus
Minimum post high-school education in a medical support field
Non-Certified Medical Assistants will need to complete a certification program within the prescribed time period and maintain certification upon expiratio
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
