Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic

Schedule: 8 hour ROTATING shifts (rotates between 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts – your days off rotate as well) The Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic maintains the operation of equipment and machines in the cold end area, including from the end of the Lehr machine to the palletizers.The Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic will:Install, repair, erect, dismantle, and assemble all types of plant machinery and electrical or electronic equipment and component parts (such as motors, switches, control boards, PLCs VFDs, generators, circuit breakers, etc.)Inspect glass forming machines and miscellaneous factory operating machines, related parts, and componentsAdjust lines to maintain the flow of productMaintain cullet lines and conveyors The Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic should have:Knowledge of gearboxes, VFDs, and job change processesExperience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, shop handbooks and layoutsExperience completing routine reports and correspondenceAbility to work a rotating schedule
