Looking for a personal care attendant for our 9 year old autistic son.
The shift will be 40 hours per week and the pay is $13.61/hour (set by the state).
Workweek begins on Thursday and ends on Wednesday.
Hours:
Mondays-Fridays 6:30am-9:00am and 3pm-9pm.
Weekends as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assist with toileting, bathing, grooming, cleaning messes which may include dealing with dirtied laundry, assistance with meal preparation and transferring. He will also need help getting off on and off of the bus and having his harness secured on him or taken off when he gets off the bus. He would need a close eye on him as in the past he has had dangerous elopement behaviors. The preferable candidate must be at least 18 years of age and have experience with autistic children and must be able to de-escalate him when behaviors get aggressive. Mental fortitude is a must!
