If you answered "yes," then read on!Job Summary There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities Develop instructional materials and conduct training for various technical training programs at the Company's s nuclear power stations. An incumbent at this level should have in-depth knowledge of instructional design theory as well as expertise in the technical area for which he or she is providing training. This level works on the most complex training topics and is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating training in the classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job. This level also is responsible for maintaining training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Requirements for Senior Instructor (Nuclear) •12 + years of related experience OR;•Certified Instructor (including 5+ years of experience) OR;•RO or SRO (including 5+ years of experience) OR;•Sr Instructor Training Cert from Dominion (including 5+ years of experience)Requirements for Senior Instructor 5-6 years of nuclear, industrial or military experience with full competency in skills related to EngineeringRequirements for both: •In depth knowledge of instructional theory and design and SAT.•Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, good personal computer, operate various instrumentation and controls, problem solving.•Abilities: Analyze and develop training materials, train and lead others, interface with regulatory personnel and industry peers, informal leadership skills, ability to effectively communicate with regulators.Education Requirements High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Electronics, Chemistry, Physics or Instrumentation) preferred. An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.
