An incumbent at this level should have working knowledge of nuclear quality assurance codes and standards as they apply to engineering, plant systems and components, administrative controls and work process.Nuclear Quality Specialist IIICoordinate, direct and perform quality assurance audits, evaluations and assessments of nuclear programs to verify compliance with regulatory requirements. An incumbent at this level should have full and comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance requirements and understanding of engineering concepts, plant systems and components, administrative controls and work control processes.Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3 and above, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined are strongly encouraged to apply.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceThe knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:Nuclear Quality Specialist IIMinimum of 2 years experience in nuclear power or quality assurance with a commensurate level of knowledge of nuclear/quality assurance processes and procedures is desirable. Good investigation and communication skills are required to perform audit activities.Nuclear Quality Specialist IIIMinimum of 5 years nuclear quality assurance related experience such as nuclear plant design or operations with a commensurate level of knowledge of nuclear processes and procedures is desirable.
