DescriptionJob Description:SAIC is actively seeking a seasoned Configuration Management Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the government Product Manager, Strategic Plans Team, and various members within the Program Office. This pivotal role is centered on leveraging complex data sets to aid strategic decision-making, augment operational efficiencies, enhance customer experiences, and effectively manage potential risks.Key Responsibilities:

Engage with key stakeholders to collect, comprehend, and utilize complex data sets relevant to the organization's goals.

Develop, maintain, and scrutinize databases to ensure integrity and accessibility of data.

Implement meticulous data collection methodologies using advanced software tools, surveys, and innovative techniques.

Undertake robust data cleansing initiatives to manage data quality, address missing values, and standardize data preparation protocols.

Execute comprehensive data analysis employing statistical tools to discern patterns, correlations, and insights from data sets.

Design intuitive data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards, to synthesize and communicate analytical findings.

Deliver detailed reports and persuasive presentations to convey complex data in an accessible manner to stakeholders and decision-makers.

Consult with decision-makers to ascertain their data requirements and facilitate data-driven decision processes.

Uphold and advocate for Configuration Management (CM) best practices and standards across the organization.

Identify and rectify data inconsistencies across various platforms to maintain data integrity and coherence.

Create and maintain dynamic data tools that graphically represent configuration management data for internal tracking and reporting.

Employ a fusion of technical acumen and interpersonal skills to navigate both the technical landscape of data analytics and the strategic domain of systems thinking.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's degree plus at least 5 (five) years of experience

Proven proficiency in building, maintaining, and analyzing databases with tools such as ServiceNow, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Jupiter, Advana.

Demonstrable experience in data collection, cleaning, and analysis using state-of-the-art statistical tools.

Expertise in creating compelling data visualizations and delivering findings through written reports, presentations, and visual mediums.

Thorough understanding of Configuration Management principles, including managing Configuration Items, CMDB, and artifact version control.

Aptitude for diagnosing and resolving discrepancies within diverse data sources to assure data completeness and consistency.

Strong grasp of data visualization techniques and the capability to tailor dynamic data tools for configuration management purposes.

A balanced skill set that includes a strong understanding of statistics, data preparation, and a system’s thinking approach.

Desired Skills/Experience:

Prior experience supporting NIWC, the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Navy, or the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command highly preferred.

Associate Certified Analytics Professional (aCAP) or equivalent certification.

Certifications in relevant tools and technologies strongly encouraged.

Background in the telecommunications sector is advantageous.

Clearance Requirement:

Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
