HIRING JANITORSJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility.

The ideal candidate will utilize cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure the interior of the facility looks clean and professional.

This role requires adherence to the company's safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks based on the facility management schedule.

Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing them.

Empty and clean trash receptacles and collect recycling.

Clean and service custodial equipment as needed.

Adhere to the company's safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Essential Skills

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two or more years of experience in custodial work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in general labor, janitorial duties, housekeeping, and sanitation.

Employees must wear steel toe boots, high-vis vest, hard hat, and safety glasses. The dress code includes long pants, a t-shirt, and steel toe boots. The work schedule is Monday-Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Friday shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruther Glen, Virginia.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
