Title: Help Desk Level 1

Position Overview:

Full time position, 8am-5pm, M-F.

Reports directly to IT Manager.

Must be local to Roanoke, VA.

Duties:

Performs a variety of duties to support information technology infrastructure to meet company needs.

Supports user computer systems, peripherals, phones, networks, servers to support all facets of the company.

Supports users who experience issues with usage of company systems & services.

Document all systems/processes to meet company needs.

Participates in developing emerging technologies of various areas.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Associates degree in IT related field and/or A+ certification preferred.

College level classes in networking, windows server, other technologies required.

Customer-service mindset & ability to effectively communicate with

Requires strong verbal, reading, writing, mathematical, & analytical skills.

Environment:

This position operates in a corporate office environment.

This role will routinely use desktop computers, phones, photocopiers, etc as needed.

This position will work closely with others in IT dept to reach company goals.
