We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Front of House Manager to join our team and help elevate our guest experience to the next level.

Job Description:

As the Front of House Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and helping promote The River and Rail. You will lead our front-of-house team, manage reservations, and work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, newsletters, and other promotional activities to enhance our brand and attract new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.

Ensure a high level of customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

Manage reservations, seating, and the flow of service to create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to maintain quality and consistency in food and beverage service.

Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to promote the restaurant, including social media campaigns, email newsletters, and special events.

Monitor and maintain the restaurant's online presence, including updating social media profiles, responding to reviews, and engaging with the community.

Assist in planning and executing promotional events, themed nights, and other initiatives to drive traffic and sales.

Work with the management team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, both in guest experience and overall operations.

Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships to ensure the front-of-house is well-stocked and prepared for service.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a front-of-house capacity.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a memorable dining experience.

Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools, with a creative eye for content creation.

Experience with email marketing and digital promotions is a plus.

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Knowledge of local food and beverage trends is a plus.
