We are seeking experienced subcontractor drywall installers and finishers to join our team for various residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing, with a proven track record of quality work. You must be able to handle all aspects of drywall work, including hanging, taping, mudding, and finishing to a professional standard.
Responsibilities:
- Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings, ensuring proper placement and secure fastening
- Tape, mud, and sand drywall seams to create smooth, flawless surfaces
- Finish drywall to required standards, including corner beads, joint compound application, and texture finishes
- Ensure all drywall work is completed according to project specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in drywall installation and finishing
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must provide pictures of past drywall work or portfolio
- Must provide at least 3 professional references
- Must have own tools and equipment (drywall knives, taping tools, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work standards
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
Compensation:
- Starting pay: $20 - $24 per sheet (based on experience)
