Local coffee and espresso machine service company is expanding its service territory in Virginia and hiring a Service Technician Assistant with opportunity to grow to Service Technician. Ideal candidate will be a team player, have excellent customer relationship skills, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, beverage equipment and coffee equipment preferred. Must have clean driving record. This is a part time- full time job.
Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Assist Master Technician with installation of new coffee equipment (espresso/cappuccino, coffee brewers, grinder).
Assist Master Technician with repairs of used coffee equipment (espresso/cappuccino, coffee brewers, grinder).
Remove equipment from client's site and clean and ship back to national accounts.
Receive and unpack equipment to prep for bench testing.
Assist Master Tech with bench testing as part of training for future.
Utilize used inventory components & parts in preparation for repair or rebuilding of equipment.
Maintain, receive and Organize equipment parts.
Complete weekly parts inventory.
Maintain contact with office
Develop thorough knowledge of the company, its products and services
Attend staff meetings as requested
Perform duties in a timely and positive manner
Work closely with other staff as a constructive team member
Perform other duties as requested by team or owner
Job Qualifications: Prefer minimum 2 years experience with coffee equipment or similar food/beverage equipment
Ability to work on commercial espresso machines, coffee brewers, coffee grinders and hot water systems
Must be eligible to work in the US
Valid drivers license (of the required class for the jurisdiction) with a clean driving record
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
Good organizational skills
Able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
