Libbie Market is interviewing/hiring for a Front-End Manager to help run our thriving local market, located in the heart of Richmond’s West End (Grove & Libbie).
A Front End Manager’s tasks include (but are not limited to):
-Managing the daily schedule of the cashiers and baggers
-Adjusting employee schedules to fix gaps or absences
-Adjusting employee schedules to meet or exceed labor goals
-Handling customer returns, voids, product requests or questions
-Being a front-end presence during peak times and helping cashiers and baggers as needed
-Being an example and advocate for Superior Customer Service
-Getting to know our customers and the neighborhood
-Ordering and maintaining in-stock conditions of café supplies
-Ordering and maintaining in-stock conditions of grocery bags and other store supplies
-Managing the completion of various front end procedures based on shift
Interested candidates should have:
-Excellent, proven, customer service skills
-Retail experience – grocery front-end preferred but not required
-Strong work ethic and ability to adjust daily work plan on the fly
-Ability to compile tasks for the day and prioritize the list for efficiency
-Ability to think quickly on their feet and handle curve balls
-A desire to grow with our company and make a career out of their position
