Title: HR Administrator
Hours: 9:00 – 6:00
Location: Richmond, VA
Position Summary
Provide administrative support to one or more functional areas such as staffing, personnel records, employee relations, benefits and compensation. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and have familiarity with Immigration related matters. Gather information, maintain and distribute as directed.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to employees
Follow USCIS and all regulatory agency guidelines
Process Benefit related information/open enrollment
Build and maintain effective, collaborative partnerships across the board
Review and sign contracts
Communicate with Vendors on Employee Assignment
Escalate concerns beyond your scope to assigned individuals
Initiate paperwork for consultant agreements
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Follow-up on all correspondence
Produce and distribute correspondence
Pick up mail from other small company (Monument Location)
Scan checks and go to bank to deposit checks
Provide support to immediate supervisor
Provide information by answering questions and requests
Assist with payroll processing
Ensure compliance with employee files
Order office supplies
Maintain Legal documents
Resolve administrative issues
Copy and print out documents
Carry out all administrative duties
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years general office work
Excellent communication skills
Work independently in small office
Reliable and dependable
Ability to adjust to changing environment
Proficient in all MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
Detailed Oriented
Must be able to Multi-task
Must be able to report to work each and every day
HR experience preferred
