Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented janitorial/maintenance worker to keep our offices, factory, and outdoor areas clean and well-maintained. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, doesn’t mind getting dirty, and can work independently to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize office spaces, including desks, breakrooms, and restrooms
Sweep and maintain cleanliness in the factory area
Collect and dispose of trash from offices, factory, and outdoor areas
Perform general upkeep of outdoor spaces, including litter pickup
Conduct light maintenance as needed (e.g., replacing light bulbs, minor repairs)
Follow safety guidelines and ensure all cleaning supplies are used properly
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience is a plus but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Comfortable working in an industrial/factory setting
Reliable transportation to and from work in Powhatan, VA
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
Willingness to work in various conditions, including getting hands dirty
