Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious bilingual (Spanish) Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team at the recycling plant. You will play a vital role in our operation by efficiently moving a variety of materials throughout the facility, ensuring a smooth and safe flow of recyclable goods.
This is a W2 position with weekly pay!

Responsibilities:
-Operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack recyclable materials (paper, plastic, metal, glass).
-Maneuver forklifts through narrow aisles and around obstacles while maintaining safety and stability.
-Securely attach and detach loads using forks and other lifting equipment.
-Inspect forklifts before and after each use to identify potential issues and report any maintenance needs.
-Weigh incoming materials using forklift scales and record weights accurately.
-Assist with cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment.
-Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to safe lifting practices.
-Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude while working effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications:
-2+ experience operating forklifts (reach truck experience a plus).
-Experience operating a fork lift with out the use of pallets.
-Strong hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
-Ability to operate and maintain equipment, including reporting potential issues.
-Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
-Physical fitness to lift heavy objects and work extended hours on your feet.
Additional Information:
This position may require working overtime and weekends on occasion.
Some exposure to dust, noise, and other elements common in a recycling facility is to be expected.
