Abrades surfaces of metal to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, rust, and dirt, using abrasive-blasting equipment on metal furniture. Quality inspects all furniture prior to sandblasting and repair or patch where needed. Maintain the the sandblasting equipment to keep running efficiently.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Sandblast all Iron beds
-Understand how to turn on and set up sandblaster
-Maintain sandblaster, change out sand, empty bins, order materials, etc.
-Understand work orders
-Quality checks all frames
-Repair any damage on castings or frames
-Move finished product to powder coating area
-Housekeeping area on daily basis Qualifications
-High School Diploma
-Able to lift 50lbs./stand all day
-1 to 3 years manufacturing experience
-Strong verbal and communication skills
-Knowledge of power tools
Monday through Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm
