Position Overview
Our Mitigation / Restoration Technicians are responsible for assisting the production department with completion of cleaning, contents manipulation, mold remediation, and water-related projects. Due to the nature of the work, job sites are often dirty, possibly hot, cold, or wet, and sometimes unsanitary. The work can be very challenging, but also fun and rewarding. A good attitude, professional work practices, and a desire to help people in need are requirements for the job.

- Customer service
- Pack out and transportation of customer contents
- Water damage emergency response and monitoring
- Mold remediation
- Structure cleaning
- Biohazard clean-up
- Job clean-up
- Completion of detailed job records.
Core Job Duties
Contents Processing:
- Remove all residue and odor from contents
- Follow warehouse procedures for cleaning, handling and storing contents
- Repack contents after they have been cleaned
On-Location Cleaning:
- Clean smoke residue from contents and structure
- Post-construction cleaning to prepare a house for occupancy
- Keep the job site clean and professional. Leave the job site clean at the end of the day. Organize and remove all cleaning tools and supplies from the property.
Water Damage Services:
- Water extraction and removal of water-damaged materials
- Move affected contents
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
Mold Remediation:
- Set up and maintain containment
- Biohazard cleanup
Requirements
- Being available for routine on-call emergency services and after-hours work
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Pass a drug test and background check
- Must lift heavy items up to 50 lbs on a routine basis
- Employees will be working with cleaning, deodorization, and antimicrobial products on a daily basis.
- Employees may be required to routinely climb ladders and work in high places and in crawlspaces or attics.
- The workspace may be contaminated with heavy smoke residue, mold and mildew, contaminated water, or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites.
