Caregiver Duties/Responsibilities (includes but not all inclusive)
- Responsible in assisting in all daily living such as toileting, bathing and brushing teeth.
- Teaching and showing her how to feed herself appropriately during mealtime.
- Administer medications as prescribed daily.
- Constant care and supervision in daily activities of living for safety (i.e., hurt or harm to herself).
- Interaction and supervision during her play activities (loves paper/plastic, but will try to eat them) must be vigilant in paying close attention to her at all times.
- Provide behavioral support and coping skills when behaviors occur (pulls hair that is close to and/or in her face, pull on your clothes (not paying attention to her).
- Must live in the home. No smoking, alcohol or drugs allowed. This may be a perfect fit for someone that true loves helping others. Have the availability to work a part-time job (Mon-Fri from 9 am - 2 pm). Candid honest person is desired.
- Located in Chester, VA minutes away from the Chester Walmart (Iron Bridge and Chalkley Roads)
Required training.
Passing a background check.
Ability to lift 100 lbs.
Must have a drivers license and own transportation
