Job Title: Event Manager at Triple Crossing Beer

Location: Richmond, VA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Event Manager to join our team. This role involves planning and executing a variety of public and private events that align with our brand's ethos of community, creativity, and quality. You will be responsible for crafting memorable events that enhance our brewery's reputation and drive revenue a commission-based structure.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Execution:

o Conceptualize, plan, and manage brewery events including beer festivals, food pairings, and educational sessions.

o Oversee all aspects of event logistics from venue setup, décor, and technical equipment to event flow and guest services.

Client Relations:

o Work closely with clients to tailor events to their needs, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business through excellent service.

o Negotiate contracts, manage event bookings, and coordinate with vendors for food, entertainment, and other necessary services.

Revenue Management:

o Develop and implement event pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining value for attendees.

o Manage a commission structure for private events, ensuring clear, transparent, and mutually beneficial financial agreements.

Marketing & Promotion:

o Assist in creating marketing collateral for events, utilizing social media, email campaigns, and partnerships to boost attendance.

o Engage with attendees before, during, and after events to gather feedback and foster community engagement.

Team Leadership:

o Lead event staff, providing training, support, and direction to ensure high standards of service and execution.

o Coordinate with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to synchronize efforts for seamless event experiences.

Event Analysis & Improvement:

o Post-event analysis to assess success, gather insights, and implement improvements for future events.

o Track event metrics to measure ROI and refine strategies.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in event planning or management with a proven track record in the hospitality or beverage industry.

Skills:

o Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

o Proficiency in event planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.

o Creative problem-solving ability and adaptability under pressure.

o Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused mentality.

Additional Requirements:

o Must be available for evening and weekend work as events typically occur during these times.

o Ability to travel within the region for event coordination and promotion.

Compensation:

$50,000 base salary

Commission structure based on the profitability of private events managed.
