The Role At CoStar Group, Photography plays a critical role in bringing our products to life on behalf of our customers. Reporting to the VP of Photography, we are looking for a Director of Photography, who will lead and inspire a large, growing team of photographers. This individuals mandate will be to deliver photographic content to Homes.com members while simultaneously leverage operational best practices to ensure on time execution and delivery. This role is based in Richmond, VA.RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a team of Managers with a strong operational mindset to ensure individual metrics and quality standards are being met.

Develop and recruit strong operational managers to support the organization.

Lead and organize a team of 50+ photographers to support the expansion of business and customer activity.

Be an active participant in enhancing operational functions, quality of product and customer satisfaction.

Ensure operational metrics are in place that are aligned to, and support, business objectives.

Hold managers accountable for the team’s performance and metrics achieved.

Inspect what you expect. Ensure that the team is not just reporting on activity but inspecting the teams work and activity on a regular basis and taking action when necessary to improve outcomes.

Collaborate with Sales leaders, Product, and IT to guarantee the team is delivering for clients in a timely manner.

Focus on continuous improvement of workflows and processes to drive optimization and innovation.

Create a community of photographers that bring to the table innovation, collaboration and support for the mission of digitizing the visual world of real estate.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelors required and Masters preferred.

5+ years leading a team responsible for delivering a product against deadlines.

Proven track record leading operational metrics and aligning an organization to execute against those metrics.

Demonstrated ability to operate in fast paced environment with delivery standards.

Ability to collaborate across functional areas to deliver assignments.

Strong communication skills required both written and including an ability to influence others through data.
