Business Data Analyst - I

Location: Richmond, VA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Business Data Analyst - I HYBRID Working Model: The requirement to be in the office would be at the most 2 days per week. JOB TITLE: Business Data Analyst-Financial Service Manager MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): Four or more years of data analysis or related work experience. Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources. Experience with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills DESIRED SKILLS: Experience in SQL coding and/or other complex data analysis tools Experience with Access Experience with Products and Services Experience with Asset Management Knowledge of project management methodologies JOB DUTIES: As a Business Data Analyst, the role includes joining the VITA VDN PMO and working with the Financial Services Managers, Asset Manager, Service Delivery and other internal teams to ensure accurate billing and inventory asset management. Your responsibilities will include performing activities to provide monthly invoices as contractually defined, coordinating resolution/reconciliation of all billing issues related to the ordering and provisioning of contracted services. In this role you will perform monthly bill reviews to confirm services are billing according to contract. This will require comparison of various account invoices and databases using lookup formulas in Excel, identifying and documenting discrepancies in Action Item Trackers, coordinating with action owners and driving issues to resolution. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-directed, self-motivated, with a strong capacity for working successfully and collaboratively with members across the organization. Individual needs to be able to effectively operate in a highly matrixed, globally distributed organization & manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
