Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the non-profit sector based in Richmond, Virginia. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play an integral role in maintaining efficiency in our office environment. Your duties will involve a range of administrative tasks, including data management, correspondence, and scheduling.Responsibilities: Ensure smooth office operations by scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Maintain and update customer records with high attention to detail. Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service. Process and manage email correspondence efficiently. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to perform various administrative tasks. Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Use Microsoft Outlook for detail oriented correspondence and scheduling. Print and scan documents as required, ensuring proper filing and organization. Respond to customer inquiries, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements Proficient in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple lines. Proven customer service experience, displaying empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage email correspondence effectively, ensuring prompt responses and appropriate follow-ups. Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, displaying excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, perform calculations, and generate reports. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, with the ability to manage emails, calendars, contacts, tasks, and notes. Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create, edit, and present detail oriented presentations. Proficient in Microsoft Word, demonstrating the ability to create and edit documents, format text, and use templates. Proven ability to schedule appointments effectively, managing multiple calendars and ensuring no overlaps or conflicts.
