Summary As a SolarWinds Systems Administrator, you will leverage your expertise to maintain the health, performance, and best practice optimization of NVR’s SolarWinds Orion Platform. Additionally, you will work as part of the IT operations team to keep the data within the platform up to date and assist with the creation of reports and dashboards.Primary Responsibilities

Provide operational and Tier 2/3 support for NVR’s SolarWinds platform, which currently monitors over 250 network devices and over 700 servers.

Ensure the status of nodes within the platform is up to date by reviewing muted/unmanaged nodes and importing new nodes.

Collaborate with the IT operations team to create reports and dashboards.

Analyze the current environment for adherence to best practices and provide suggestions to improve platform utilization.

Keep the platform updated with the latest SolarWinds releases.

Document procedures and configurations in knowledgebase articles.

Perform on-call duties as needed, including after-hours support.

Follow established NVR policies and procedures, recommending changes when necessary.

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience with the SolarWinds platform, including NCM, SAM, NPM, SCM, NTA, and SRM.

SolarWinds Certified Professional certification preferred but not required.

Experience with or knowledge of Windows Server systems administration in both cloud and on-premises environments.

General knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
