DescriptionJob Description: Expert-Level SCCM / Intune EngineerOverviewWe are seeking an experienced SCCM / Intune Engineer to join our team. As an expert in endpoint management, you will play a critical role in modernizing our organization’s endpoint environment. Your responsibilities will include customizing Windows 11 images, developing ground-up Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and creating robust Intune policies. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for optimizing endpoint management, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities1. Windows 11 Upgrade and Technical Debt

Lead the transition from SCCM to Intune while addressing technical debt related to workstations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless Windows 11 upgrade.

2. Customization and Policy Development

Develop and customize Windows 11 images.

Create GPOs from scratch.

Design and implement Intune policies to enhance security and streamline application management.

Redefine application packaging and deployment processes.

Set up policies within Intune to manage the existing 3,000 applications effectively.

Explore conditional access options based on Intune policies.

3. Migration and Consolidation

Integrate Intune alongside existing SCCM infrastructure (not a complete migration).

Rebuild Group Policies from the ground up, addressing legacy policies.

Streamline the application landscape by consolidating and packaging applications.

Currently, 98% of applications are uncontrolled; your role is to change that.

4. End User Support

Manage approximately 3,000- 15,000 endpoints

No mobile device management required.

This is a long-term position (at least 15 months).

The role is 100% remote, allowing flexibility in working hours.

Minimal travel to Washington, D.C. (approximately once a quarter).

QualificationsQualificationsEducation and years experience:

Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

At least 10 years of related experience

- Senior-Level Expertise

Proven experience with SCCM and Intune.

Ability to work independently and lead complex projects.

Familiarity with Windows 11 and modern endpoint management practices.

- Communication and Collaboration

Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear instructions for end users.

- Security Clearance

Active Secret, Q or TS clearance preferred.

Must be a US Citizen

Target salary range: $155,001 - $165,000.
