MUST BE US CITIZEN WITH ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE!We are the EmpoyerEDB Postres - On site at Radford, VirginiaDesign, install, configure, administer, upgrade, and tune EDB Postgres databases in a UNIX / Oracle Enterprise Linux environment on virtual servers.Support additional database platforms, including MySQL and Oracle, as needed.Perform backup and recovery operations using Barman (Backup and Recovery Manager).Utilize Postgres Enterprise Manager for monitoring and management.Migrate Oracle databases to EDB Postgres using Ora2pg.Implement and maintain DoD and commercial certificate-based authentication for database logins.Troubleshoot and resolve database and operating system issues to ensure high availability and performance.Develop and maintain shell scripts in PL/pgSQL and bash for automation and administration tasks.Document processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation to provide timely response to critical incidents.Collaborate with system administrators, application teams, and Army stakeholders to ensure database solutions meet mission requirements.
