At ManTech International Corporation , you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.ManTech is seeking a Graphics Artist (Video/Photography Specialist) to support our Marine Corps Intelligence Activity contract on MCB Quantico.The successful candidate will be a talented, enthusiastic, personable, graphics artist who specializes in photography and videography.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning, filming, photographing, editing, publishing, disseminating, live events
Maintain and troubleshoot filming equipment and ensuring equipment is ready for each event
Familiar with lighting requirements, shot angles, and lens requirements to ensure best possible images
Understand client objectives and relay information to customers
Able to successfully communicate, while maintaining high levels of professionalism to all possible clients to include peer contractors, military, and leadership
Expert at image and video manipulation using the Adobe suite of software
Use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create and edit visual materials while following graphic design principles and elements, to include but not limited to, alignment, hierarchy, contrast, repetition, proximity, balance, color, negative space, line, shape, form, texture, space, imagery, typography, and color
Create routine-to-complex visuals, including charts, graphs, timelines, infographics, briefs, illustrations, publication design, cover design, brochures, posters, logos, etc.
Design and illustrate abstract ideas and concepts
Graphically depict intelligence-related subject matters
Produce products which express complex ideas clearly and effectively
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of graphic design principles
Examine how designs are viewed by their customer to ensure messages are communicated clearly and accurately
Create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, designers, editors, supervisors, etc.
Communicate with customers to establish the objective, design, and requirements of the project
Maintains contact with the customer about project progress and deadlines
Review products for quality control
Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years experience or 8 years experience without degree
Must demonstrate advanced to expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint to create and edit briefing slides respectively
Ability to work on several products concurrently while managing competing deadlines
Openness to continuous learning and knowledge sharing with peers
Must keep all stakeholders (customers, peers, leads) informed of activities, to include impediments, bottlenecks, dependencies, and other activities that might affect due dates and milestones
Ability to work independently, as well as in a project team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Adobe Premier, Aftereffects, and web development preferred
Experience with Photography and Videography is preferred
Knowledge of Aftereffects, Premier, HTML, CSS, and JAVASCIPT are beneficial
Ability to hand draw concepts and ideas in a collaborative environment
Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps programs, organizational structure, and interoperability requirements
Create forms using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat
Create content that includes routine-to-complex graphics, publication design and layout, infographics, forms, briefs, illustrations, posters, logos, photography, videos, and websites
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a DoD TS/SCI Clearance without exceptions
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
