We are a well-established Drywall Contracting Company in the Hampton Roads area seeking an experienced self-starter!
Salary negotiable from $70,000 and up, depending on experience.
Responsibilities include:
Creating accurate take-offs from electronic plans, blueprints, or field measurements using takeoff software.
Creating timely proposals and following up with customers for feedback.
Exhibiting competency in offering value engineering recommendations to clients and management.
Assisting with training of other personnel in estimating.
Visiting jobsites as deemed necessary.
Possessing a positive team attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Estimating/Project Management in the construction industry.
Proficiency in reading and understanding structural and architectural drawings
Knowledge and experience with drywall installation practices, including finishing, and knowledge of the various related materials used.
Strong working knowledge of take-off, estimating software, and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently, possess interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with various personalities and skill levels.
Detail-oriented, ability to impart precise instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.
Experience:
Drywall Estimating: 3 years (Required)
COMMERCIAL DRYWALL: 3 years (Preferred)
