Production Specialist
Sign Shop experience is required to be considered for this position
DeSigns Inc is a well established sign company in Chesapeake, VA. We've been serving Hampton Roads since 1989. We are a 3M and MCS certified company.
We're currently seeking a full time production specialist to work in our production room. This is a fast paced environment and requires attention to detail, time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
What you'll be doing:
-Running a wide format printer and plotters
-Working alongside the art department to ensure files are set up for print properly and material usage is properly executed
-Executing work orders properly and efficiently
-Printing, laminating, cutting and prepping vinyl for installation
-Assembling signs and banners
-Some offsite sign installations or vehicle lettering installations may be required at times
-Along with owners, you'll be quality checking completed signage for customer pickup
-Delegating projects to appropriate production team members
-Production room inventory
What you need to succeed:
-Sign shop experience is required
-Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
-Valid Drivers license and clean driving record
-Reliable transportation
-Excellent time management skills
-strong communication skills
-PC and MAC computer experience
-must be able to uphold our quality standards
