StratasCorp is currently looking to hire a Software Developer on a full time, permanent basis. This role must be performed on site in Norfolk, VA and requires a minimum of an active Secret clearance. $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS available for this opportunity + relocation assistance available for non-local candidates.
Title: Software DeveloperLocation: Norfolk, VA Overview:StratasCorp Technologies has an immediate Software Developer opening for the Navy Information Operations Database (NIODB) in support of the Navy’s Electronic Warfare Data (EWD) mission. We are looking for an experienced .NET programmer to join our team as we continue development of both our NIODB Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) desktop application and the NIODB suite of web applications using .NET MVC. We are looking for someone who is excited about taking on technical challenges, enjoys working as part of a team, and who can also take on a solo challenge should the need arise. Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain our NIODB Desktop application built with WPF in C#
- Design, develop, and maintain our NIODB web application suite using C# and MVC Framework
- Assist the team in maintaining our legacy C# Webforms applications
- Work with Oracle database to retrieve data, this includes development of queries, functions, and procedures using SQL and PL/SQL
- Participate in software development meetings
- Create, update, and maintain project Kanban boards using JIRA
- Maintain personal certifications, education, and training
- Collaborate with team members to achieve development goals
- Review requirements documentation and create Level of Effort documentation in response
- Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in professional software development
- Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience in WPF
- Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience in C# and MVC
- Experience developing complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions
- Experience in manipulating, reading, and creating XML Experience with Electronic Warfare data is desired but not required
