Job Title: Forklift DriverJob DescriptionWe are looking for a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver to join our small 6-10 person distribution center that handles building materials, including lumber, hardwood flooring, fixtures, door and cabinet handles. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and be willing to take on various tasks as needed. This position requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Load and unload products from trailers and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tracking products using warehouse management systems.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring products are stored in designated areas.
Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
Interact with customers and delivery personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential Skills
Experience in picking, packing, material handling, and inventory management.
Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Ability to use RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to work overtime when needed.
