We are an educational support program offering supplemental educational courses as well core classes for k-8th. Our objective is to partner with homeschool parents and students in Hampton Roads. We are currently looking for instructors for 8th grade English. This would include instruction in grammar, composition, vocabulary and phonics. The job would be 3 hours on Tuesdays & Thursdays with a predetermined curriculum. Degrees are preferred but not required.
We are also looking for an additional history teacher for high school students, and "elective" instructors. Science, history, art etc.
It is important to know that we are located in a church and while we do not demand that anyone student or staff believe any particular way, we do ask that you respect the place that you are in and the views of others. This job is GREAT for someone who is retired but still enjoys the love of teaching. We are a nonprofit entity, we operate Tues-Thurs 9-3.
