Work within a software development team to provide accessible front end design modifications.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BA/BS in Information Technology or related field

Experience: 10+ years

Technical Skills:

Experience developing medium to large-scale applications; testing, linting, and adherence to coding/web standards.

Hands-on experience with React or Vue

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Skills and abilities:

Documented Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.).

Demonstrated experience with developing in Python and Java

Strong understanding of Python, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, Spring boot, React, PostgreSQL

Fundamental experience with design principles, and component library creation

Comfortable with Git and the Command Line

Comfortable identifying, troubleshooting, and fixing UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, theming, etc.)

Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance

Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing application

Comfortable working in and defining common UI grid layouts

Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration

Solid understanding of usability and accessibility standards including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

Proven experience of practice knowledge working in Agile Projects from user stories and backlog management to acceptance criteria.

Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Collaborate cross-functionality with data engineers, analysts, project managers, and other personnel

Provide recommendations for continuous improvement

Location: McLean, VA on Customer Site
