Security Systems Integration Engineer (onsite)

The role of a Security Systems Integration Engineer plays a crucial role in Final engineering and implementation of simple to complex Security Management Systems (SMS), the ability to understand complex system architectures and come up with creative solutions and performing analysis of new and existing products and making recommendations based on those findings. Value and Beliefs of this Role: The person in this role must provide world-class service to customers, colleagues, and communities. This job requires a person who remains professional, organized, detail and task oriented, as well as precise, thorough, and collaborative. Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients, project managers, and solution architects to design and implement complex security and technology integrations, which may include access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and more. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system integration, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, integration processes, and troubleshooting procedures.Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure that integrations meet client requirements and Convergint Federal | SigNet Technologies' standards. Train client personnel on the operation and maintenance of integrated systems, providing them with the knowledge to maximize the benefits of the solutions. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that you are well-informed about the latest advances in security and technology systems. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and customer support, to deliver integrated solutions that exceed client expectations. Other Duties: Other duties assigned within reason of current role previously specified.
