Job Family :Management ConsultingTravel Required :NoneClearance Required :Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:As a Managing Consult, you will serve as a firm resource and leader in all matters PPBE and will perform as a deputy to the Solution lead. You will support specialized analysis and projects in support of OIT ITBF leadership, including prioritization tool, zero based budgeting, and additional special studies (e.g. Legislative Review). Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing process maps, RACI matrices, and SOPs in support of financial tools, such as a prioritization tool, and/or MYP/BF/BEAS business processes and associated trainings
Developing compelling briefing materials to present a financial case, present options to clients (pros/cons), and/or support decision making for ITBF leadership
Supporting both the annual MYP and BF processes through development of financial analysis tools and automated MS Excel products to support MYP and BF annual cycles.
Supporting all project administration and management responsibilities as a workstream lead (staff development, leadership meetings, reporting, staffing, financial controllership, slide deck development, cross-functional team integration, etc
Solution responsibilities will include - thought leadership, staff development, training development and instruction, business growth, methodology development, etc.
What You Will Need :
Bachelor's degree or higher
5+ years of consulting or industry specific experience
Leading teams in strategy development and tactical execution of large scale projects
Data analysis capabilities, with the ability to access financial systems via query, leverage existing data tables/reports, derive conclusions and make recommendations
Tools - quickly and creatively mold solutions in MS Excel, Power BI, or other existing client tools – may include reports, artifact compilation, or other detailed analysis needs (what-if scenarios, prior year data comparison, data trends, graphing, pivot tables, etc)
Creative logical thinking with the ability to understand a client business challenge, and independently strategize and then develop a solution leveraging data, systems, and tools
Mathematical and basic statistical knowledge to understand tools, prioritization algorithms, and the ability to adjust formulas with an understanding of the ramifications/impact
Strong verbal, writing, grammatical, and editing capabilities – explaining and translating technical content in a clear and concise way
Strong understanding of programming/budget formulation/budget execution in the federal space
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Knowledge of Veterans Affairs is ideal, but not crucial
CGFM/CDFM Certification
Previous Big 4/large consulting firm experience
Experience with large federal agencies in financial management/CFO organizations
Knowledge of business development process and proposal development
The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00.
