Job SummaryAmentum is looking for a Maintenance-Grounds professional to join our team in McLean, VA. In the Maintenance-Grounds role, you will be responsible for performing carpentry and general maintenance work related to construction and building & grounds maintenance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.Regular Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pmMajor Role and Responsibilities:Utilize your thorough knowledge of the carpentry trade
Operate power tools and machinery as required
Comprehend written and oral instruction
Write correspondence
Effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
Perform all other job related responsibilities
Minimum RequirementsFour (4) years’ experience in trade or building maintenance
A willingness to work shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship, vocational or internal developmental program for a journeyman carpenter
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Preferred Qualifications Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance preferred
