Job SummaryAmentum is looking for a Engraver with an active Top Secret/SCI with Poly to join our team in McLean, VA. As an Engraver, you will be responsible for set-up and operation of all computerized engravers, using your knowledge of sizes of letters and cutters to design signs, name plates, brass plates, medallions, Braille and other related items. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have an active Top Secret/SCI with Poly.Regular Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - FridayMajor Role and Responsibilities:Assist with design and produce special plaques, brass plates or medallions

Create signs for special functions

Produce, stencil, and paint metal signs for traffic patterns and parking lots

Operate small power tools and machinery as required

Read prints or sketches and perform material take-off

Have knowledge of computers used in trade

Comprehend written and oral instructions

Write correspondence as needed

Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Minimum RequirementsFour (4) years’ experience engraving or completion of a recognized apprenticeship OR alternately, a vocational program and five (5) years in the carpentry trade

Willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings and nights, as well as, overtime, weekends, and holidays

High School Degree or GED required

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI with Poly Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications Have knowledge of local and state building and safety codes

Have knowledge of preventative maintenance program
