We are seeking a remote Site Reliability Engineer within our Private Cloud (OpenStack) Team, responsible for building, managing, maintaining and scaling the company-wide Private Cloud Infrastructure as well as to help develop a Kubernetes infrastructure. Our ideal candidate will have a skillset that spans Kubernetes, System Administration, Storage, and Networking. This is not a simple DevOps Role. The team does not deploy customers applications, but instead manages, engineers, and operates a private cloud platform itself. Responsibilities: • Responsible for installing, maintaining and configuring Production and Non-Production tools and services to support our OpenStack environment in multiple data centers • Responsible for assisting in the development of a Kubernetes infrastructure. • Responsible areas include network, storage, servers, and automation tools • Responsible for daily operations support including problem isolation and resolution • Responsible for regular Operating System and Firmware patching. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • 8 + years' experience • Solid Unix system administration experience • Hands-on experience deploying Kubernetes infrastructure • Understanding of large-scale distributed systems • Automation experience. • Hands-on experience managing an Openstack infrastructure a plus
