Are you an educated, bored, stay-home mom, now an empty-nester with the kids all grown up and recently gone. Does your successful breadwinning husband appreciate your need to stay busy with self-fulfilling challenges? Is your schedule flexible and wide open? Would you like to receive compensation that matches your life's investment and worth?
Then you may wish to consider a unique Family Trust employment opportunity as a part-time companion caregiver for two retired veteran educators, the wife, a retired early childhood education specialist and the husband, a retired college professor/dean. The wife is a sixteen-year veteran of Parkinson's Disease but still going strong. The husband is physically impaired but still engages in variety of business and personal creative activities including music development, practice, and performance, writing poetry, and Virginia colonial history research, authorship and publication.
The care for these two seniors takes place in their beautiful home in a private senior gated community off Old Graves Mill Road near the Timberlake Kroger’s Store in central Lynchburg.
The work atmosphere is personable, friendly, and intellectually stimulating on a wide range of interesting subjects excluding politics and religion.
The core work schedule (our weekly Trust payroll) is 4pm to 8pm each Saturday and Sunday totaling eight hours per week. Additional hours would also be needed to accommodate vacations, sickness and personal absences of existing caregiver employees (requiring schedule flexibility as previously noted).
Compensation for the right person is outstanding.
If you are that qualified rare person, can be depended upon when needed, and are interested, please phone John at 434-841-6219 (our retired live-in son and Family Trust Care Manager) for additional information and a phone pre-interview, possibly leading to an on-site visit.
