Grounds Project Manager (Lynchburg VA)

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys grounds maintenance work and traveling to different parts of the United States. This position exists to respond to contract awards from military bases, visiting job sites during the year to ensure efficient completion of work, and attending site visits for potential contracts. The Grounds Project Manager position includes traveling to each base upon contract award, performing start-up of the contract, staying until a local project manager is hired, and attending meetings on site. Start-up of a contract includes creating an efficient work flow, hiring employees, delegating tasks, and set-up of computer systems. This position requires 5 years of managing a crew of grounds laborers. Travel will be required.
